testing, testing, 1..2..3..

It wouldn’t be necessarily healthy or what one might call a “good” way to spend my time, but I could spend HOURS fiddling with this silly blog. Mostly, I could spend such a long time because it takes me so long to figure anything out, but once I do..man, it’s kind of a rush.
So I’ve recently discovered that wordpress.org (which so graciously provides the free software I use to entertain you every few days to a week) has all these cool plugins created by users to make your blog better. I mean, there are hundreds of them, so I’m playing with a few to see how they go.
The whole thing started when I woke up yesterday morning to FORTY spam comments awaiting moderation. Since then, I’ve received roughly EIGHTY MORE just on one post alone. Something clearly had to be done. I’ve installed a spam blocker plugin, I’m working on one that gathers statistics of my site visitors, there’s one that randomly displays lyrics from “Hello, Dolly,” and the one I’d like to test right now is supposed to correctly embed YouTube videos on the page. Let’s see how it goes.
