some enchanted evening

Have you heard? I’m sure you have because I’m sure you pay more attention to the world and its events than I do. Actually, I’m sure that my friends’ pets pay more attention to the world than I do – particularly Dooley, who’s been to night classes. Anyhoe, I am speaking, of course, about tonight’s lunar eclipse. Now, I’ve never seen one before, but as with anything involving the heavenly bodies (like stuff that’s actually in space as opposed to say…Brad Pitt in Spy Game), I am imagining that it’s going to be quite romantic. And it seems a shame to watch something romantic all by my lonesome (even though I do it all the time with Love Actually), so if you’d fancy an evening with me tonight, give me a call. Apparently the fun will be starting some time between 8:30 and 9:00 with the big shebang taking place between 10 and 11. That’s when we pop a bottle of bubbly, order Chinese and make out. But only if you actually are Brad Pitt from Spy Game.
