It’s Business Time

Whoa whoa whoa! Hold the phone, jump back, and every other expression of disbelief and amazement this monkey’s uncle can muster! I’ve got FIVE HUNDRED business cards to give away.

That’s crazy, y’all. 500. For free. I’m sorry to say that Johnny’s on vacation this week, so I’ll just have to tell you about the prize. The printing company UPrinting, which specializes in poster, postcard, brochure, calendar, flyer and business card printing, is going to give ONE person:

  • 500 Premium Business Cards
  • 2 x 3.5”, 2 x 2” (square card) or 1.75 x 3.5” (slim card)
  • 14 pt gloss cardstock, 14 pt matte cardstock or 13 pt recycled uncoated cardstock
  • Full Color Both Sides

This give-away is limited to US residents only  18 years old and above, so once again I apologize to my overseas readers (although y’all are an imaginative bunch that could come up with something if you really wanted to, wink wink).

Here’s how you win:

Post a comment with a haiku (that’s 3 lines of 5, 7 and 5 syllables). I’ll give you an example.

Uno, dos, one, two
McDonald’s teaches Spanish
Much wait brings hotcakes

Enter as many times as you like, posting a different comment with a different haiku for each entry. Be sure to give me your email address so I can contact you if you win. I’m the only one who sees your email, so don’t worry about that. Enter here.

This contest ends on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST. If you comment after that, it won’t count as an entry. The winner will be drawn from the comments using random.org and will be notified by email. You will then have 24 hours to respond with your mailing address. If you don’t respond, I’ma pick a new winner. Contest open to U.S. residents, 18 and older only. Good luck!!!

The opinions expressed above are mine alone. Uprinting is going to hook me up with some free business cards in exchange for hosting this giveaway.
