This is what Nate would like to do on a first date:

It’s really nice for me to have a first date where I can get to know her and talk as much as we can. A very nice dinner is always nice and then going to a nice relaxed public place to sit back and enjoy each others company. That or some activity where you can talk like miniature golf or ice skating can be really nice.

Golly. He sounds…nice.

And just a note about profile pictures. Can we please steer clear of anything resembling either mugshots or school pictures? Seriously fellas, I would be more than happy to review your prospective profile pictures and give you pointers. And if need be, I will do a photo shoot for you. But you’re going to have to buy me a soy chai, which would technically be considered a “date” (particularly by my mother, who considers any one-on-one social outing to be a date), and if you and I are dating, I don’t know what in the world you need with a profile picture for a dating site. Are you cheating on me?
