MacBuddy

Alrighty, so as you know, “our” internet is not really ours, so sometimes we can get it, but usually (these days at least), we cannot. So I spend a lot of time at the ‘bou with Buddy, my fabulous MacBook. Well, there are several people who also frequent the ‘bou who also have Macs, and for some reason, one of them really wants us to be friends.
He’s told me more than once that he’s regularly a PC guy, and that as a new Mac user, he’s still learning, blah, blah, blah. So he’s always approaching me about Mac questions that are really the simplest, most uninteresting things I can possibly imagine having a question about. Like, “This program is open, and there’s no way to close it. I can’t get it off the screen.” Or, “How do I organize my documents in folders? Can I make new folders? How do I do that?”
Ummm…
So I don’t know if these are just really bad attempts at making contact for the purposes of stranger flirtation or what. I don’t know if maybe he heard about me-n-Whitney’s stranger flirtation project, and he’s trying to get in on the ground floor. I have to hand it to him for trying and all, but man. Whitney, if he’s going to join the project, we’ve got our work cut out for us on that one.

I’d like to think men don’t make up flirtation projects, but with this guy… I dunno, maybe that’s why he bought a Mac.

While I can’t vouch for anything concerning the flirting, as a longtime Mac user I will say that new Mac users are all about asking random stuff like that.
