Look out, Raleigh!

I love Google Analytics. In fact, one might even say that I heart it, that I adore it, that I want to take it out behind the middle school and get it pregnant. It’s just so fascinating. Do you know what it can do? It can tell me how many people are reading Onward Hoe! on any day in EVERY CITY IN THE WORLD. It makes all kinds of graphs depicting this information. If I want to, I can see where the visitors linked from, what kind of browser they have, what kind of operating system they have, what kind of internet connection they use and what version of flash they have. I can very nearly stalk my own stalkers, which is great for me because I LOVE internet stalking.
So with this new information, I have two things to say:
- Hey Portland readers! Welcome! Who are you? Don, is that you? Have you been Googling yourself again and found me? I’m not psycho, I promise!! Well, no more than the average woman. (vouch for me, here, friends)
- Raleigh, what’s going on here? I have had more visits from Morrisville than from you! Seriously, MORRISVILLE. I mean, no offense, Morrisville. I love you and all, but come on. There are 13,361 people in Morrisville and 380,173 people in Raleigh. You better step it up, Raleigh, or I’m moving to Morrisville. (Not really, Morrisville. Sorry. Maybe Mexico City.)

I will vouch for no one! Donald Miller, you do what you want. If you read our dear Bethy’s posts here and find yourself creeped out beyond belief, then you run. Run like a scared little man. But if you become enthralled with the whirlwind sassiness of our dear Bethy, then I won’t be a bit surprised to see you man up and rush here to Raleigh to sweep her off her pink-sneaker-clad feet straightaway. Huzzah!

What? No mention of Durham? I’m gonna quit reading if we don’t get a Durham shout out…

I didn’t even know that was there! I’ve been using Analytics for a while, and have recently been looking at my stats more to make sure everything’s working with my site’s redesign. I have more hits from Portland, Maine than any other city in the world. What’s going on there?

High Point – 3
Greenville – 3
WILKESBORO!!!!! – 3
