Happy VD, kids!

Good St. Valentine’s Day to you, friends! I managed to get through the first half of my day (the half where a student has the hots for me) without really acknowledging the fact that people love each other. In fact, I’m pretty sure my class hated me just a little after going over a very confusing and thorough (thoroughly confusing?) activity they’d done earlier on the proper usage of English articles (a, an, the).

Then I had my afternoon class talk about pee for three hours. Yippee hooray!! Then I went to Blockbuster to pick up the movie I’m going to watch with my hoes tonight. When I got there, there were no copies of it on the shelves, so I went up to the counter to ask about it, and they just happened to have one that had just been returned! Score! Then, as I was walking out, I heard the customer behind me asking about the same movie. I then heard the clerk telling her that I’d just rented the last one, and I turned around to see her scowling slightly at me.

I’m wishing her a good VD too. LOVE!!
