title pic God is Not a Temp

Posted by beth on April 11, 2008

And now, friends, the moment you’ve been waiting for. I’ve just received written permission from the co-author to share with you what might be the most poignant, thought-provoking, theological and poetic masterpiece of our generation. It won’t be quite the same as when I read it in person, but you’ll just have to imagine a moment or two of hysterical giggling between every line. And now, without further ado, I give you “God is Not a Temp.”

(finger-snapping appropriate)

God is not a temp.

He’s in every blimp.

He doesn’t walk with a limp.

He’s not a pimp.

He’s not made of hemp.

He’s down with shrimp.

He doesn’t like his hair crimped.

He is NOT a wimp.

He may or may not primp.

(finger-snapping appreciated)
