Forget About the Boy

Confession: I was not actually tagged to do this, but it looked like fun, so I decided to do it anyway. My results will, no doubt, be decidedly different from those of my friend Jennifer, from whom I have stolen it. I will have less R&B and more musical theater, but I think the same odds exist for New Kids on the Block to come up. Don’t feel obligated to join in. I’m not tagging anyone. But if you think it looks like fun (or if you try it, and it turns out to be hilarious), then go for it, and let me know. Here’s how it works.
1. Put your iTunes/Napster/Zune Player/WinAmp/etc on shuffle.
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer (I hit “refresh” on the iTunes party shuffle and took the song in the new #1 position).
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS!If someone says, “Is this ok?” you say:
- If someone says, “Is this ok?” you say:
One Piece at a Time (Johnny Cash) – That’s good advice. - What would best describe your personality?
Thank God I’m a Country Boy (John Denver) – Or girl, as it were. - What do you like in a guy/girl?
Table for Two (Caedmon’s Call) - How do you feel today?
I Saw the Light (David Crowder Band) - What is your life’s purpose?
Miss America (Styx) – SWEET! At least now I know. - What is your motto?
Goodbye Love (RENT) – Uh…yikes - What do your friends think of you?
You Are Mine (Third Day) – My friends are clearly all stalkers. - What do you think of your parents?
Smooth Criminal (Michael Jackson) – Yeah, that’s right. - What do you think about very often?
Call Me Beautiful (Ginny Owens) – It’s true. I do. - What’s 2 + 2?
Know Nothing (Travis) - What do you think of your best friend?
I Saw Him Once/In My Life (Les Miserables) - What do you think of the person you like?
Nature Boy (David Bowie) - What is your life story?
My Hope (David Crowder) - What do you want to be when you grow up?
Cowboy, Take Me Away (Dixie Chicks) - What do you think when you see the person you like?
Prove Me Wrong (The Old Ceremony) – The next song on the list was Sexy Back…dangit. - What do your parents think of you?
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! (Lena Horne) – I tried to cheat on this one because it made absolutely no sense, but when I hit the refresh button, a different version of this song came up, so it must be accurate. - What will you dance to at your wedding?
Superstar (Lauryn Hill) - What will they play at your funeral?
Good Morning Baltimore (Hairspray) – Not surprisingly, I’d be ok with this. - What is your hobby/interest?
In the Car (Barenaked Ladies) – I’m a little freaked out by this, honestly. - What do you think of your friends?
Transatlanticism (Death Cab for Cutie) – I think it’s a sign. - What’s the worst thing that could happen?
Nothing from Nothing (Billy Preston) - How will you die?
(I Just Died) In Your Arms (Cutting Crew) – no joke - What is the one thing you regret?
The Tale of Mr. Morton (Skee-Lo) – It is a sad tale. - What makes you laugh?
Desnudate Mujer (David Bisbal) – Oh my gosh it’s SO TRUE!!! - What makes you cry?
Where Are You? (Spamalot) – Not quite as true. - Will you ever get married?
That’s What Friends Are For (Dionne Warwick, Elton John, Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder) – What, exactly, are friends for? For marrying? Or for being there when you don’t get married? - What scares you the most?
This One’s for the Children (NKOTB) – SEE?? I told you. - Does anyone like you?
Orphan Girl (Emmylou Harris) – Awww, thanks orphan girl! - If you could go back in time, what would you change?
City of Blinding Lights (U2) – Yeah, I don’t really like that song very much. I would definitely change it. - What hurts right now?
Only Dreamin’ (Dolly Parton) – Not doing. - What will you post this as?
Forget About the Boy (Thoroughly Modern Millie)
