best night of my life

Ok maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, but here is the conversation that took place a few hours ago with the ticket window employee at the Raleigh Grande movie theater.
- me: Hi, how are you?
- him: It’s the best night of my life, how about you?
- me: Wow, that’s awesome! Does that mean you’re going to let me see 27 Dresses for free??
- him: I didn’t say it was the best night of your life.
- me: But it could be if I got to see 27 Dresses for free.
- him: I’ll pass that along. (handing me free ticket) Enjoy your movie.
- me: You’re awesome. Thanks!
Ok seriously, you NEVER KNOW what you can get unless you just ask. You’d be surprised how much random free stuff people will give you when they’re in a good mood.
And the movie is cute. Predictable and unrealistic, and don’t expect it to get you thinking about any important issues facing our world today, but cute.

YESH!!! While learning of the good karma floating around a Raleigh-area movie theater did not actually make this the best day of my life, it did make me pretty happy. So you never know how far-reaching this kind of thing could be.
