being a grown-up sucks

There’s too much responsibility involved. Most days it’s a manageable amount, but then other days, it’s too much all at once. Today is one of those days. Somebody give me a drink. Or a cookie. Or some snugglin’. Or maybe just a nap would do me a world of good. I already bought new shoes. That helped a little, but I may need something a little stronger, if you know what I mean. Like a big strong maaaayenn (that’s “man” in Southern).
