let it…do absolutely nothing
By beth | January 19, 2008
There was all manner of hype on the news yesterday about how we could see an accumulation of 2-3 (I even heard up to 5) inches of snow today. The plan was that it was going to rain for about an hour, and then the temperature would drop, and we’d start seeing the snow fall. Instead, I think it sprinkled this morning, and now it’s not only doing jack squat, but the high temperature for today is a predicted 41. FORTY-ONE! Sorry weather people, but snow does not accumulate when it is 41 degrees outside because, you see, snow is water that is very very cold, and I don’t know who taught you the math on freezing points and all, but uh…that’s a little off.
Booooooooo! I wanted to see some snow! Sigh. Oh well, it’s not like I was going to go outside today anyway.
