shopping “success”
I went to Burlington yesterday afternoon and had lunch with my sister. Then, on the way back, as I was passing through Durham, I thought, “Ooooo, Urban Outfitters. I’ll just see if there’s anything good.” Of course there was. Sometimes, you measure success in shopping by what you manage to find. And other times, you measure success by what you manage to not purchase. I am proud to report to you that I succeeded in not buying at least $175 worth of clothing that I tried on. AND I didn’t buy anything from the home section, which is the real feat of will power that is needed whenever I go there. However, I did get this dress, and I wore it to church today, which caused a bit of a commotion among all those who have pretty much only seen me in t-shirts and jeans…ever. I’m pretty sure all the boys want to get carnal with me now because I’m such a premium dresser.
And speaking of boys, I realize yesterday’s post was slightly more than over-the-top, and while I still own and agree with everything it said, it may have been partially chemically-induced. Halleluia though, I am finally coming down off of that hormone high. It was a bit of a beast.

and…you’re a premium dancer, so why wouldn’t they all want to be carnal with you?
