I should have known

July 19th, 2007

As you may know (if you’ve been keeping up with me since this post), I’ve been looking for a Montana license plate in Raleigh for over a year now. It all started last February (2006, that is), when I noticed that I was seeing a lot of plates from other states around town. I started taking note, and within about four months I’d seen 49 states and several Canadian territories. Montana was proving to be an elusive little booger, though, and until yesterday, I thought I might never see it unless I actually went to Montana. Well, friends, I’m excited to inform you that Montana. Has. Been. Found!!! It was at Helios, of all places.

So now I can rest easy, knowing that at least one person from every state has visited our fair city, and someone from Montana picked a decent coffee shop. I hope we’re treating them well and giving them all a good impression of Raleigh. Are you doing your part to make America (and parts of Canada) welcome?
