1. When I pin my hair up/back these days, I try to hide a few extra bobby pins in there somewhere just in case I need one later to tame down a fly-away.
2. Apparently, Fran Drescher wants to take Hillary Clinton’s seat in the Senate. Personally, I am speechless. What do you think?

I actually wouldn’t mind Fran Drescher. She’s done a lot through her cancershmancer movement. And I honestly think she’s a real smart chick.

paterson gave the seat to someone else today. a waspy blonde. but Drescher vows to challenge the replacement in the 2010 election. it appears that the nytimes doesn’t take her seriously, because they never include her in the list of possible contenders. frankly, this is one of the rare cases in which I agree with the Times!
